Spend a day of adrenaline-pumping adventure at the famous Phantasialand. Opened as a family fun center in the 1960s, the park has transformed over the years to cater to the thrill-seeking clients with dozens of exciting rides. Ride through the Wild West on the Colorado Adventure rollercoaster and the River Quest rapid-river ride. Next, get spooked while walking through the haunted Mystery Castle. You'll find plenty of family-friendly attractions, restaurants, and accommodations, too. Try to arrive in the morning to avoid long lines and crowds. Tours to Phantasialand
Phantasialand is a very cool and inexpensive amusement park. We went here twice in July and both times the queue waiting times were very acceptable (compared to e.g. Efteling). I loved the Taron and t... more »
Das Phantasialand war früher ein Top-Park, doch seit den letzten 20 Jahren ist dieser Park von Phantasielosigkeit kaum zu überbieten. Es gibt nur noch Achterbahnen oder Attraktionen für kleine Kinder.... more »Phantasialand used to be a top park, but for the last 20 years, this park has been hard to beat with imagination. There are only roller coasters or attractions for small children. The fantastic gondola lift has been replaced by an event centre, the Scala has been replaced by a 3D film that has also been running for 20 years, the Tanakra Theatre by a Madhouse (which is available in every other park), silver mine by roller coasters, Phantasialand jet with Time tunnel through NOTHING, Viking boat ride through any boat trip without history and animatronics. The park no longer has the diversity, individuality and uniqueness. The Hollywood tour and ghost rickshaw are kept away from maintenance, everything seems old and falling apart. You probably don't have people who can do that anymore. Other parks in Germany, such as Europa-Park, have a themed ride at every corner and they are all well maintained, only Phantasialand can no longer build (lack of ideas and creativity), let alone cultivate them. Digital attractions such as MouseauChocolat and Crazy Bats unfortunately do not have the effect of a gondola or star parade.
Like a mini Disney, nicely decorated, very clean. Awesome attractions and cool shows. We stayed in on of the themed hotels, awesome hotel guest after hours entrance to 2 of the coolest attractions. Able to go couple of times in row.
Really good experience. Food was good and reasonably priced. Rides were fun, although my partner is really tall (2m) so couldn't go on all of them. Would recommend a raincoat, even on a sunny day as the water rides give a big splash and you get soaked.
