Relax, stroll, or swim at Kotu Beach, a West Coast stretch of golden sand fringed with coconut palms. A popular tourist resort and village with many amenities make for an ideal base if you wish to explore the area's many diving opportunities. At this beach, shallow waters stretch some 25 m (82 ft) from the shore, and a marked swimming zone patrolled by lifeguards provides ample space for inexperienced or very young water lovers to test their skills safely. Our Kotu attractions planning app makes visiting Kotu Beach and other Kotu attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • This beach is very clean and comfortable. I lived at the African Princess in April and My 2019. In the evening a lot of people are walking and doing boxing and Martial Arts.  more »
  • Unfortunately, the beach is abundantly polluted and not particularly beautiful. For this, the complex of the "Sunprime Tamala beach resort" was beautiful and compensated me. In any case, Gambia is worth a trip.
