  • Cable car journey was good. But the garden at the top is in need of... well some gardening!! The signposting isn’t very good, but we did have a nice walk, wherever we went!!  more »
  • a little tour of cable car (attention to the claustrophobic and people with fear of heights). the view is incredible and you can walk the trails filled with flowers.

  • If you go to Puerto Plata, you should go to Mount Isabel. Take a taxi from your hotel, and go on the cable car and see the statute, Christ the redeemer, there are only 2 in the world.  more »

  • With guide. Kind of cloudy. 8 min comfort car ride up, 8 min posing to the "this-is-best-position-for-photo"-guy (that you need to tip) and then 8 min comfort car ride down. Probably nicer when the sun is present.

  • Beautiful place to learn, from the historical point of view, there are soldiers they bet during the dictatorship of Rafael Leónidas Trujillo, giving this place of an anti-aircraft battery. It has a beautiful panoramic view of the city of puerto plata... Enjoy the ride!
