  • We Did The Tour where the guide is the same creator, a Swiss who dedicated himself to chocolate after arriving in Costa Rica. It Shows its farm and passes its wisdom of the flora and fauna, which makes the tour very interesting. During The course of this you will try different fruits and finally when you arrive at the factory the chocolate in its different states. The downside is that you can not pay anything with card, only accept cash and the employee of the cafeteria (a brunette woman, impresses of the area) very unpleasant and unkind to answer questions and even to offer the products, gave the feeling that you were doing an FA VOR to one be interested in both the products of the cafeteria or the purchase of the tour.

  • It was more than we expected. Really interesting tour around the cacao plantation and a small chocolate making workshop. Do not miss it!  more »

  • At $24 per person we nearly didn't go on the tour, but so glad we did. The owner himself gives the tour which is super informative and interesting. A lovely walk through the jungle / plantation and then seeing how chocolate is made from beginning to end. Plenty of opportunity to taste as well - the 'fruit' of the cocoa pod, the fantastic hot chocolate and a lovely red fruit juice. And of course chocolate, the end product. Highly recommended.
  • First off, if you are even slightly considering taking this tour then just do it! It is a fantastic tour! David was our guide. He was brilliant in every way. He showed us so many jungle things from animals, and birds to bullet ants. His professionalism is top notch. He is so knowledgeable and is a great teacher. We ate so many different things off the trees. It was like a grocery store in the jungle. I won’t spoil the surprises of this trip. JUST GO!!!
