  • Wonderful experience for our family. Highly recommend it. Our guide Florian was both informative and quite funny (and he didn't even have to pay us for that good comment ;). His genuine affection for the animals was obvious. We were lucky enough to see their resident honey bear and to get a glimpse of an owl monkey. Also the view from the restaurant was truly breathtaking.
  • We where touched very deeply by this place. We are happy it exists and sad at the same time. The tour with Florian was great. He is very knowledgeable and funny. He told us the stories of all the poor creatures that live there. We loved the fact that they try to rehabilitate as many animals back into the wild as possible - and that those animals are not shown to visitors to prevent them from too much human contact. You will only see those animals that can not be released due to injuries or other circumstances. The people here (mostly volunteers) are doing a great job and seem to love what they do. If you want to see some cute animals and help them at the same time, please do this great tour! We will definitely come back when we return to CR - maybe even as volunteers!
