  • During our stay in Cahuita, we have explored the Park on your own. The road is about 7 km long. It's very great, what you can see everything and experience. Hint: in any case, you should use an offered leadership. So you can discover a lot more.

  • For nature lovers a must. We were $ per person 2 times in the Park by the entrance of Puerto Vargas 5, it deserted. There is much to discover, snakes, Coatis, Howlermonkeys, raccoon up to pelicans. In the morning early we were the 1st in the Park and are started immediately with the trail in the forest, then ran up the trail to the sea along to the other side. Pure nature and without tourists, that's soo many nice bathing places to stay. If you come with your family, can enjoy his lunch on one of the many tables or huts. Only to recommend!

  • Beautiful. Stunning swimming! Lots of wildlife to enjoy. Apparently we were lucky not to have loads of mosquitoes, but we were lucky! 😁
  • Wear good walking shoes. Do NOT bother with a guide- you will be pressured at the entrance but just avoid it- they did point out a few animals here and there but they are visible if you look up...unless you just have no clue and want them to be with you.personally I was happier when they left bc the main one just kept pushing for more money. Just a clue- when there is an animal To be seen- you’ll be clued in by others Stopped and looking up. There is some beautiful beach and picnic spots so bring a little something to eat and drink so you can stay longer. I brought bug wipes with deer but was never Bothered by any bugs on th beach. There is a less busy side to enter this park- the Punta Vargas side-way less crowded.
