Rio Perdido Reviews

Amazing place to stay, worth every penny. The staff were very friendly and took great care of us. You will need a 4x4 to get there but they are in the process of laying down a proper road. The lodges are very nice, we didn't bother to close the blinds so every morning was like waking with a forest view. There were monkeys hanging out in the trees and iguanas frequently waddled by on the paths. The food is really nice, I had the best seared tuna. However be aware that the hotels intention is to provide healthy meals so don't expect burgers, bacon or deep fried what ever. It's all about the lush fruit and plenty of salad options for breakfast. All in all, I will go back, highly recommend.
This is paradise. I have enjoyed myself from the second we crossed onto the property. Take some care on the road in, and then enjoy. The food is top notch, the service is impeccable and friendly, and the rooms are cozy and set right in the woods.
