Inaugurated in 1958, Igrejinha N.S. De Fatima church was the first masonry chapel to be built in Brasilia. Designed by modernist architect Oscar Niemeyer, the small, peaceful building resembles a nun's hat. Underneath the sweeping white roof, the walls are covered with brilliant blue tiles designed by Athos Bulcão, featuring a repeated white dove.
