  • Although it felt expensive (3 adults & 2 teenagers), the guide (Jarrod) made the 1.5hr walk extremely interesting and entertaining even for our teenage girls! The Daintree tea and damper at the end we...  more »
  • He has participated in the World Heritage Mosman Valley and Poto Douglas One Day Tour six times on the Port Douglas Connection. I would like to introduce the good things about this tour, especially japanese tourists arriving early in the morning, so it's best as an option to participate on the first day. At 8 am, they picked me up at a hotel in Cairns and the tour started. First, head to Palm Cove. There used to be palm cove, but it was added this year. You can sleep in a van driven by Japanese staff to Palm Cove. When you get to Palm Cove, you'll be greeted by beautiful sea, white sand beaches and picturesque piers, and you'll be sure to take photogenic images. There's also a good ice cream seller.

  • Beautiful place. Be aware the only way to get to the gorge is via a shuttle bus which costs. It cost us $35 for our group of 5. Probably about an hours worth of walks/views. There is a 2km walk loop we didn't do.
  • Great facility and great to see the vision become a reality. Loved the Gorge and the new walking paths and elevated boardwalk make it accessible to everyone. Food at the Cafe is really good...if you like mangoes and macadamias try the smoothie! Next time we are in this part of the world we will be back!
