  • Excellent gardens for a walk and very close to the CBD for a coffee or two.Would recommend as a great way to fill in a couple of hours on a nice day.  more »
  • Great place to relax from the hustle and bustle of high office buildings and life on the run. A garden allows you to relax and forget about life in a big city is Brisbane.

  • Brisbane City Botanic Gardens is a wonderful spot to relieve some stress due to heavy workload or study load. Have your own me-time, hang out with friends, or (date with the ones who love natural view. This place is also family-friendly and stroller-friendly. You may bring your children to one playground with lots of interesting things for them. Or if you love capturing beautifully arranged flower garden, there is one circled, outdoor garden in the middle of the Botanic Gardens. (People sometimes got their crazy pose for their photos, he he he). If you see tall bamboo spot, you better not take that way. You will find that-not-pretty-good smell of birds' poo while walking ON their poo. :D One more thing, as this place is more suitable for outdoor activities, do not forget to check the forecast. I once went there with 35% chance of raining (just to take some gloomy pictures), but ended up having heavy rain. (Only one bad luck, could not be generalized to all conditions.)
  • I love to walk through these gardens. Adjacent to the water, they offer peace and tranquillity in nice surroundings. Do get to the ponds, and the waterfront. Enjoy the view to the cliffs across, or the various birds encountered on land or pond. Sit down on one of the many benches and ponder your next steps. Also smell the flowers, of course... depending on what season you're here.
