  • They always have interesting samples worthy of being visited but the building itself, alone, deserves a visit. Do not miss it!

  • All Museum have theirs, and this much more yet. It's worth the time. It is a beautiful building, very comfortable to navigate, and very modern in its design.

  • Loved this place. Great art/architecture. Was (to our surprise) free. Great stop on a walking tour.
  • The building itself is the main attraction. Downstairs guided tour very helpful to appreciate the many architectural curiosities. Upstairs collection better without a guide.
  • Incredible place in downtown Buenos Aires, merits a visit. Additionally, there's a Asian art collection there.
  • Beautiful mansion with well preserved interior. It gives a good idea of how people in power use to live.
  • Incredibly beautiful museum. Definitely worth a visit.

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
