  • I much enjoyed my Spanish course at Rayuela since it was very informative and interactive. Alejandro explained things in concise and simple terms easy to understand. He also liked to explain the Spanish words in the context of the students' cultural heritage expanding our knowledge on sort of "comparative linguistics." The fact that Alejandro made us practice our Spanish in class helped us digest the course materials much better. I would highly recommend this Spanish class to others. Thanks Alejandro for having coached me on the fine points of the Spanish language. Dr. Cam
  • I took classes at Instituto de Español Rayuela for a couple months and I absolutely loved it. The teachers were very knowledgeable and always willing to take time to explain any confusion I had. The lessons were tailored to my needs and included opportunity to practice through reading, writing, speaking and hearing. I feel much more confident in Spanish now than when I first started and this school is largely responsible for that. I highly recommend checking it out if you're interested in improving your Spanish.
  • This was my first Spanish class, my comprehension and my ability to communicate have improved massively since I started. My teacher (Alejandro) was excellent, his general linguistic skills are fantastic and his enthusiasm for language was contagious. The classes were small so I get a lot of attention and speaking time. The lessons were well thought out and progressed logically, we were also encouraged to bring up topics at the start of class. Even if you're staying in Palermo it's worth the hassle to travel here to study, I strongly recommend this school to anyone hoping to improve their Spanish.
  • Rayuela and my teacher was great. Super helpful, catering to my pace - fast, and yet really detailed with a plethora of examples to explain the intricacies of Spanish - couldn't have asked for more! I wish all the teachers at Rayuela the best of luck in the future!
  • This is an excellent Spanish school, great teachers, nice environment, very well organised. I've studied with lots of schools in Latin America and this one is by far the best. Recommended for everyone!

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
