It is improving every year, but the problem is the people who use it, and often it. Unfortunately in all these 20 years of degradation the Argentine (with lowercase letters) has become dirty and disrespectful. However improvements are made and also cleaned, the truth is technically not I think about cleaning, but what is true is that people don't care anything, and also destroys. A disgrace and a shame that a sector of Argentine citizens do not respect for others, and not even to himself.

af2017 A place for strolling by the lake and marvelling at its thousands of roses. The ‘Parque Tres de Febrero', the official name of the Bosque de Palermo (the ‘Palermo Woods'), is located in the northern part of the Palermo quarter. It was once popular with smugglers because of its proximity to the Río de la Plata. A green oasis, it was designed by the Franco-Argentine architect Carlos Thays, who took his inspiration from the Bois de Boulogne in Paris. It is the perfect place to spend a relaxing moment admiring tree species and tropical plants as well as the many sculptures dotted about. In the poet's garden there are statues of William Shakespeare, Dante Alighieri, Federico García Lorca, Antonio Machado and Jorge Luis Borges. Five winter gardens and an immense greenhouse delight lovers of floral beauty. The Rosedal Park (rose gardens) is at the heart of this green space. Here you can admire 12,000 roses and the most beautiful lake of Palermo, where you can take a boat to cool off in summer. Surrounded by a beautiful talas – a wood of eucalyptus, tipas (rosewood) and ombus trees – you will discover a variety of fauna, from turtles to indigenous snails and otters.

Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown.
